Pang, you are amazing! Where do I start? The quality of your film is out of this world. Your ability to mingle with the marine life; they accept you as one of them. The act’s you catch them doing are nature at its brilliance. I wish Nat Geo should hire you. My partner and I snorkel at Barwon Heads Bluff over summer and get to see some of this beauty.
This is a great video, I love bigfin reef squids and could watch them catch and eat stuff forever. Edit: At least, I think they’re bigfins; there’s only three species of reef squid so I have a 1/3 chance of being correct
Hi Pang. Are you the very same Pang Quong who used to teach at Woodleigh? I did lots of skin diving under your tuition back in the 80s. We did a week in Bermagui which is etched into my memory in a good way. With David Fenwick and Miffy. I’ve since got my scubu ticket and have dived all over the place including many dives in Indonesia. Thank you for your encouragement in those early years you are an inspiration. Fantastic work with the filming and slo-mo. The garfish capture was terrific. Horrible with the squid jig at the start, but interesting non-the-less
