Hi, I was wondering if anybody could give me a description of what was used to get the flying cablecam shots, how was the camera controlled, and how did you see where it was pointed. Information about this would be much appreciated, as I am filming a local kayak race, and the competitors have agreed that this type of shot would be best. I have a GoPro HD HERO, and would use that to film. Could you send me pictures of your cablecam rig? Thaks a bunch.

It’s a stick to put your Cam on, I think you have to build the mount yourself, or at least apply it to the Kayak yourself.

before you are able to paddle rivers like that you must learn the basics and get used to the boat. join a kayaking club near you and try it out, this sport is so exciting!
