Exploration Foux de la Vis: It is a mystical cave that emerges in a beautiful place next to a historic mill. In three dives we were able to dive and further explore the cave up to its old end, which was reached by the EKPP at that time. But already after 160 m Günter Faul and I reached the surface. Unfortunately, in our opinion, it is impossible to get out of the water. Also diving further seems to be impossible. Even though we have now somewhat demystified this cave, there is still much to explore. For example, during our last exploration trip, members of our team (Nico Gerdau, Vincent Kessler & Joseph C Schuetzenhofer), discovered an active feeder stream after 930 meters. To the best of our current knowledge, this is the deepest sump in Europe, returning to the surface (in the cave) after more than 3 km. The following video was edited from three different dives.
