Exploration Durzon.mp4

After the exhausting dives in the Pozo Azul I could make a relaxed and beautiful dive in the Durzon. This together with my excellent dive partner Xavier Méniscus and under the organization of Remi Bouchard.
Colleagues like Frédéric Bossart, Alain Fournet and many others supported us.

The goal was actually to find a way through the rock collapse discovered by Xavier. Unfortunately, this was not possible. Because of the many sediments and the non-existent current, I suspect that the feeder lies somewhere else. So the adventure Durzon is not over yet.

As a special highlight we were visited by Jean-Claude Caubel and Jacques Armand who were among the first divers to explore the Durzon more than 50 years ago. They told us many exciting stories about their explorations during this time.
My greatest respect to these great explorers!

As always, the video is very little cut. Unfortunately, this time I had problems with the automatic white balance. Therefore the colors sometimes change from blue to green. I think this was because of the excellent video lighting of Xavier (Günter Faul du musst aufrüsten….).
