Wreck of the Notre Dame D’Arvor of the South West of Wardang Island, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.

An 84 metre long 3 mast Barque rigged Iron sailing ship which ran aground. In the days pursuing, whilst endeavouring to afloat her, she caught fire and burned from forward to aft. She was a total loss.

Various vessels, including the Steam Tug Euro assisted with lightening the ship prior to her catching fire.
