London Surf / Film Festival 2018 x REEF

A celebration of the cream of international surf culture, 8th Edition London Surf / Film Festival brought to the UK 4 nights of packed out World, European and UK premieres, accompanied by a programme of special audiences with icons of the surf and screen – from legend Rob Machado, surf adventurer Kepa Acero and charger Noah Lane, to multi award-winning filmmakers including Andrew Kaineder.

The Momentum Generation gallery event ‘Posse’, hosted at 71a in conjunction with Rob Machado, HUCK Magazine and Shelby Meade showcased rare photography from the archives of Steve Sherman, Todd Glaser and Art Brewer while the sell-out festival closing night saw a charity screening in aid of Waves For Change with live music from Oktoba. With a programme of events celebrating the breadth and depth of surfing, London Surf / Film Festival has cemented itself as a barometer at the heart of surf culture.

Thanks to our partners Reef, Finisterre, Nixon, Arvin Goods, Surf Sistas, Venn Creative, Aluna Coconut Rum, Surf Ears, Sharp’s, Huck, Carve, Surf Girl, Approaching Lines, Allpress, Magicseaweed and to everyone who came, helped, supported, made movies, watched movies, talked story with friends old and new, hooted, voted and brought the stoke!
